2011 is an exciting year for all MG owners ? not only is the release of the first new MG car ? the MG6, it is the 10th anniversary of our own MG Zeds release in the UK. Although they were't released in Australia til 2002 - we're joining in and celebrating them NOW!
The MGCC Vic F n Z Register has been celebrating this milestone with our fantastic FABZ run back in May ? complete with a ZedTen Birthday cake ? but the actual anniversary date is coming up ? Sunday 24th July 2011.
Along with the MGCC Zed Register UK ? the Victoria register is the only other currently in the world celebrating ZEDTEN and we want you to join us an celebrate.http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
We have secured the end of Pit Lane of Sandown Raceway in Melbourne during the final day of Round 3 of the 2011 Victoria State Circuit Racing Championships for us to put on a static display.
This sloped area will show off our cars to the maximum!
We?re wanting to make a big MG statement on the thousands of spectators that will be there. Let?s show those other clubs some real MG style and class!
We need YOU AND YOUR ZED CAR
We?d really love as many ZR, ZS, ZT and ZT-T?s as possible.
NON MGCC Vic members are TOTALLY invited to join us and help us celebrate our cars and this milestone.
ALL Zeds will be the primary focus but we need support from all on this special day.
This will be most of the day for those displaing their cars, commitment from 8.30am until after 4.00pm (Times to be confirmed)
We are intending to have regalia on sale and hope to make this a big PR session for our cars.
Please email me ASAP if you can be there and support us ? Your name , your model of car and registration number so we can ensure we can make this an event to remember!
