View Full Version : need a clutch pedal cruise switch

mines a bit dodgy, the cruise works if i lift up the clutch pedal with my foot , but as soon as i let go it switches of again, part number xkd000010 so ime told,been searching all over but no luck yet, any leads:) taa

Don't buy a new one. If it works when you lift the clutch pedal, it just means that the switch has been knocked slightly too far away from the pedal. I'm hoping someone will be along with directions to a 'how to' as I'm just off...

Correct, it's a pain to get to......skinny wrists required

It's right at the top of the clutch pedal. IIRC, you lie flat on your back with your legs in the air, depress the clutch, find the switch, which I believe is oblong shaped and push it towards the back of the car. I think it's on a little ratchetty mechanism. When you've managed to move it out, let the clutch pedal return to its normal position slowly.

Took me ages to find the switch, but seconds to fix once I'd located it. I guess this is most likely to happen if your foot slips off the clutch (for whatever reason)

Help me people, i cant locate this clutch switch , ive been on my back poking around under there, spartacus said the switch may have moved as the cruise still works if you lift up the clutch pedal with your foot. ime not quite sure what ime looking for plus i havent got the skinny wrists. night mare, has anyone sorted this before or has anyone got a image of the switch, taa
