Any thoughts on this MkI XPG? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2894993.htm

At that price, I could get her converted to LPG within my budget. Not too sure about the slicks though

It's a shame only full members can access this, I know it's been mentioned before but surely potential buyers would benefit from reading any information available relating to cars for sale.
I know it's a 'public' forum so potentially could open a 'can of worms' discussing cars for sale.:ash

I am sure members are happy to pass on information about cars to non owner members, but most threads are started in private so that it can be discussed freely and to allow full members to comment openly.

Anyone coming to this site and asking about a particular car will get feedback I am sure and if it is potentially sensitive information or opinions about a car for sale would get a PM.

People in the market for a V8 can ask the questions and on the majority of occasions can be answered on an open site. However as a group we are restricted to providing what could be commercially confidential information. The data we have been able to obtain does have agreed restrictions as part of the permission to use it. Plus when members provide me with their details it's on the basis it stays limited.

If you come across a car you can PM/e-mail me or AndyG, we'll help as much as possible. Andy holds the day to day club info on the cars and I have the databases.

Personally, I understand why and am happy to not have full access yet - it makes the anticipation of being a full member more interesting and I got a PM with some very useful info within ten minutes.

it could be a real bargain at that price, or best well left alone. I personally don't know the car.
