I wake up at 3 this morning, get washed and dressed, go to my car to find some utter bastard has sprayed nitro morse all round my 260 and bonnet. I'm truly devastated. I will find them and i will hurt them.

Chances are this dickhead will want to come back in daylight and see his/her handywork?
Keep a sharp eye out for anyone taking more than a passing glance at it. Then bide your time, remember; Revenge is a dish best served cold....

Dish served cold? I'll bloody serve it with liquid hydrogen. Not a good idea to do it to a cops car either. And hopefully the CCTV on the road will help. It's the cost of repair I'm worried about.

Wouldn't be supprised if it was green peace lol. But more likely some benefit taking work shy tosser who thinks he's very clever indeed.
Anyway latest update. Car is away as of 17:00 today at Nottingham crash repair centre. The guy who is assessing the car knows exactly what he is dealing with, and is friends with a chap at luffield mg workshop, do I have good confidence. 2 weeks and pony express Will be back. Thanks all for your support guys. :D

Defies belief.

Why would someone do it, i just don't get it.

I feel for you, really do. So glad i keep a lockup for mine.

Saying that, might be worth looking into, mine's only about £40 a month

Hope it gets sorted quickly for you

Chris

Thanx for the words Chris. Unfortunately there are none that are practical or are not just around the corner from the people who probably did the damage in the first place.

If you think you have narrowed it down... could you say if its just some jelous plank or if it is 'green' related...?

I wish it were green piece. I'd tell the French authorities on them to sink there other oil burning heap of a ship. Lol, but sadly no. It is a guy who has no car but hates the fuzz.

Oh yes I was proper devastated. No tickets. Some other cops cars have been hit. Not as bad as ours but still not good. Seems there might be some out there who don't like the local fuzz eh.

I guess in your job it does carry that kind of risk, how do you go about protecting your identity home location etc. Do you get training guidance etc? If something like this is truly vindictive and job related then if you are able to arrest and prosecute him can you then get any job related compensation?

wraith01mg

Well firstly. You would need to report it as a hate crime. But compensation would only be received if there was personal injury. Secondly we would need poof that the culprit had committed the criminal damage and as we all know proof is harder to obtain than the knowledge of it. My wife is the officer I'm just a humble engineer/lorry driver. My wife works very closely with the community and has (for the most part) a very good relationship with jo public. Most people in town know the car unfortunately. The only advise to police on this area realy boils down to arrive in plain clothes.

I'll just have to have a friendly word in his shell like.

Tried not to post Chris as I go ballistic when I hear this sort of thing but needed to offer support and have calmed down now.

It must go through your mind almost every day whats around the corner with the role your wife has. Such a pity society has these mindless dickweeds

I'm going to say it in pictures while my blood boils

Car done as of today. Picking it up on Saturday morning. It has recived a lot of attention at the spray shop from the guys there. May even have a few new members if we are lucky. They love the sound of the thing. Can't wait to hear it again myself.

Again thanks one and all for your sympathy.

I think tim my wife would be at the head of this que with a bat with a rusty 6" nail in lol. She is still steaming now. Not helped by a healthy 300 quid excess I'll have to fork out on sat. :adding
