For info, a slightly unusual apparently zero miles ZT-T.
A tad pricey at £20,000, and its a non SE....

a lot of money for not many miles.

Wonder what recommisioning work it would need to put it on the road.

£20,000 when you can buy one with 20k 0n the clock for approx 1/3 of that asking price - doesn't stack up to my mind. Guess someone will buy itthough, but at what price?

I remember Willow's (SE model, 4K miles, no requirement to recommission) being advertised around £12K. That does make this one seem silly money.

I think that is brilliant. Somebody out there actually appreciates the proper value of our cars. There should be no carping about this. Simply praise for a very astute and sensible deal. One or two more deals like this and our cars will again start to achieve there true values.

Wow! If had plenty money burning hole in my pocket and very extremely low/zero milage MG came up that would be fantastic! :D

I don't think anyone is carping on, just pointing out that this seems a very high price (compared with other recent sales, even for very low mileage cars).

If everyone is buying and selling something around a certain price and I pay a lot more than everyone else, does that mean I appreciate the true value of it and have done a very astute and sensible deal? I would argue precisely the opposite...

Mike - where did you get this information? Not saying your wrong, just wondering if it's 100% fact.

I was looking at buying the car yesterday and managed to negotiate the dealer down from the 15K asking price to 12k, however I was looking for him to shave the price a bit more and went back to him at lunchtime today, but he had sold it this morning, so my guess is that he got between 12 and 15k

Ah OK, I thought from the original post, it had sold for £20K.

£12K'ish doesn't sound too far out for that model/condition.

Confessional.

I bought it (sorry Mike! - I had no idea anyone else on here was interested) and the plan is to have a little something added by Dreadnought.

Which means that my immaculate 18K mile Mk1 260SE Saloon will go up for sale in a few weeks time (yes Tim, I know that I said I'd be keeping it :ash).

Did you manage to resolve the road tax issue?

I am anticipating a battle with DVLA - you mean paying 2011 rates for a 2004-plated car Mike?
