Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that brake/cruise double pole switch, part number XKD000010, is NLA.

I will e-mail CAT when I get the chance and see what their intentions are but I fear it will be the normal "SFA".

cheers,

Kev

Presumably these aren't unique to the V8, have you tried the bay?

Coasting,

Shouldn't be unique at all. It is a simple double pole switch. However, the switch dimensions might be unique, precluding using some other manufacturer's offering. There might be old stock somewhere in the country but I haven't got into search mode yet.

Kev

Well not sure which way it is but one of them or both are the same as the diesel... think one is still in stock or was... but could be the same as the Freelander... Can't remember what Nick used in mine now....

Is there a Ford part # on the switch? Reason I ask is the SV have a "spare" un-used switch on the pedal box which I have removed.Could be a c/c switch which the SV does not have fitted.
Ford # F4ZB9F645-A-A.If so could post a pic.

Thanks for those part numbers. When I get the thing a good look at the item I will follow up with BMW. However, if it was that simple I would have thought CAT would just ask for more stock from BMW?

I am sure Nick know's what he's talking about. :)

Sadly it seems we are better relying on people like Brian (Dreadnought) and Nick (Austin Garages) for help and support like this than we are XPart
