hi i have a full set -front and rear -of the special brake pads that brian had commissioned for the zt-v8.
i bought these directly from brian but i really want a bigger brake set up so i am letting these go to anyone who would wish to have them, brand new never fitted.

So these fit the standard calipers I take it. What are the benefits over say yellow stuff pads?

The dust sticks to your wheels and turns them gold... :D

I think my car had a pair on the back when i first got it.

Cant comment on performance, but i believe they were commisioned for use for paul on the track, so they probably aint too shabby!

yes they are for the standard calipers,i suppose the benefit over say yellow stuff pads is that these were designed and produced for the 260 were people like e.b.c make them for everyone

Ok, despite concerns over wheel damage, you have a PM.

I would have but as much as my car always get looked after mechanically I am a nightmare for remembering to clean it, all that excess dust would be a nightmare for me! though whats the difference between a little dust and a lot when you don't clean your car often...

The pads were developed for Paul to be able to use the cars potential on the track which they do vey well. The difficult part was to find a material that worked cold as well as hot and also insulated the caliper pistons as much as possible from the pad face heat. These are very special pads which can't be bought over the counter.

Cheers for the input Brian. These sounds perfect for my plans then. Have been impressed with the yellow stuff pads for normal use, and have decided to go for these to swap to for my occasional track use. Hoping the'll help with the extra power i'm planning, which i need to call you about soon in fact...
