Nice car although I think there were 166 not 105 of them
I think the bumper's not even a facelift, maybe they were just using up stuff at Longbridge?

No Xenon lights on an SE spec ar - is that right, or is the front bumper perhaps not original?!?

Thoughts that come to me:

Bit expensive!
Don't like what he's done to the grille.
It does have a facelift rear bumper but the heat shields don't look "right" with the droopy oem exhausts.

Each to their own, the colours good though.

Cheers
Jim

The original claimed production number is correct although I know at least one was destroyed before sale. So around a 100 were available with about 50% going abroad so only around 50 in UK less any on road losses since 05. The rear bumper is also correct as is mine with the heat shields (an option I took from new but with straight outlet pipes not turndowns)

Seems a nice car

I have noted both 105 and 166 being quoted as total builds for the 75 V8 with a reliable source stating 166 vin numbers/builds for the 75 V8 (inc. tourers). Do you have a source for the 105 number? There is a significant difference between the two:confused:

Cheers :)

Wasn't aware of that fact.

I also thought the build number for the Rover V8 was 166 - this from a couple of sources.

I have had both projectors and Xenons
virtually no difference between the two at all
Both are superior to the standard halogen candles.

Just been an anorak and gone through AndyG's vin number thread which also seems to confirm the 166.
