does seem very cheap, either a Glass's guide valuation or a spam typr con to get hold of email addresses (as I didn't see a phone number on the advert, it was by email contact ony??)

Yes I thought it was Rossy's car, but it sounds as if there's some problems, MIL Lights, Knocking, Diff?

Perhaps no-one wants to fix it or it costs more than they thought?

Now withdrawn from Pistonheads!

I must say though, I do like those indicator repeater lights on the sides. Anybody know where these are from / what they are off ? The BMW M3 has those that makes them stand out from the normal beemers. They make the 260 stand out from a normal ZT's in my opinion (although probably equally as easy to fit onto any old ZT I would imagine) :)

Cool. Thanks ;)

I may well invest !

Edit: Hmm. Maybe not actually. It looks like they dont sit flush, and need to fit into a recess or cut-out. I dont want to have to hack the bodywork about :(

It gets about  That web site is crud though. I cant get the link for the 260's to work. It just brings another page up with "normal" cars. Other car links bring up the details for those cars. It's certainly going to take a while to sell at this rate!!

these adverts have been used in the past recently to entice the buyer to rush and grab a bargain that doesnt exist.

two guys were jailed recently as they were using similar ads for a false advert scam and the cheap car advert gets someone to rush up with cash and they arrange to meet you in a carpark and they watch you arrive as you said you would guess what, there is no car and they mug you for the cash you came with !!

the whole thing smells of a scam !!

I do sometimes think it would be worth turning the tables and have 'the boys' near to then grab them, rough up a bit and mug.

for your information I have a copy of a reply from the seller to this advert,
I can't imagine anyone falling for this, as follows,

Morning,
Sorry that I have given no response. I'm in hospital in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I had surgery. And had to stay in hospital at least three weeks.
The car is still for sale, price that I'm asking is £3,200.00. bodywork & mechanical in excellent condition.
No scratches or any kind of damage. I had a buyer from Durham but his loan was not approved and now the car is still for sale. Delivery is already paid and as I explained my buyer couldn't get the loan after I made the arrangements to deliver the car, and the delivery company won't refund me, but I am able to deliver the car anywhere in United Kingdom. As I'm in hospital due to my health problems I can't do this transaction personally but the transaction will be made through Trans International Cargo for our own safety. If you want to buy it I just need your full name and address so I can open a case. You must know that Trans International Cargo will contact you without any obligation to buy it or fees.
Cheers
