A very nice looking 75 V8 for sale - in chatsworth monogram.

High miles, but seemingly well looked after. I`m guessing its not a fellow forum members car?

Excellent, nearly £7.5k for 125k miles ... See, they are going up :D

I thought it looked mint till I realised the date on the photos was 01/01/2005 (when it was new) !

Is this the same theory as with internet dating where people put a photo taken 10 years ago ? "Slim, blond, 38, still look as good as I did 10 years ago - you wouldn't know I'd been round the clock in the meantime......."

125,000 miles in a V8. Must have shares in BP ! (ahhhh maybe that's why he's selling !)

Edit - just realised LPG conversion - maybe that makes MPG acceptable for star ship mileages ?

I think he's just forgot to set the time on his digital camera (there is an 07 plate in the background).

£7450 for that mileage is silly though, regardless of condition.

Ahhh - good point re the 07 plate. Very observant (well more observant than me anyway).

If the pics are recent then the car looks in great condition.

I assume (hope) you think £7,450 is silly high. If so I agree. Might be able to ask that privately if 50k miles and a good history (and no LPG conversion - that would put me off). With 125k miles I can't see anyone paying that.

There have recently been a couple of 110k mile cars with that were advertised trade at £3,995. That seems more realistic. I know everyone says "the engines are bullet proof.... go on forever, etc.", but you can't just ignore the mileage! Previous discussion on the subject of high mileage models (https://www.two-sixties.co.uk/mgoc260/html/f0rum/showthread.php?t=6351).

For another £726, you could have one with 100k less miles (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2005-ROVER-75-V8-CONNOISSEUR-SE-SILVER-/300446947510). Hmmm, tough decision
