I know this question comes up a lot with various colours, but I need to know if it's worth holding on for one to be available to buy or settle for another colour, been quoted 4k for a full re spray so reckon best getting the colour you want from the word go! :)
As in the title I'm looking for Ignition blue (would prefer) or Royal blue (colour of 160 I've got now).
Appreciate any info

No igintion blues but 23 Royal blues, 5 being mk1's. Of the 23, 13 are saloons. Oldest being 064 and the youngest being 858

That makes sense, Tim, I seem to remember it was the 'replacement' colour for Trophy Blue, and is possibly even a tiny bit nicer.

I recall seeing a Mica Blue ZT 260 saloon at Evans Halshaw Wolverhampton, I think it was 06 plate from memory, pondered and missed it. I think it was non SE but about £16.5K at the time.

Thanks a lot for the replies. Have to say ignition blue is nicer than trophy.
Looks like I will more than likely go down the royal blue route again......anyone fancy selling theirs?? :)

Richard was selling his a few months ago. He's based in Norwich.

I can check if you are sure you are going forward with this Will.

Every man has his price, but mine is a keeper, so I think it would be a but to pricey.

Good luck with your hunt.

Likewise. I fancy a change from time to time. I have a hankering for something German with a Flat 6 at the moment but having just spent shedloads of money on a new office I think I will keep the 260 for a bit longer.........

You lot have beat me to it again! Was gonna say that I remember seeing a brand new MG ZT 260 in 2005 after MG Rover went into administration at Brindley in Wolverhampton and that was Ignition Blue. But you lot beat me to it, so I won't say nothing:D!!

Hi there. I've got a Royal Blue Mk1 SE. 42,000 miles, Accufab throttle body, K&N filter, modified standard exhausts for improved breathing and sound. However, it would take a lot of dosh to convince me to sell it.
