ATC - (Set L19c/R19c in Auto default)

Has always an issue since birth and had been behaving fairly well until the recent hot spell but now sometimes decides to only blow warm air - or if ECO pressed hot air!?

If this occurs all you can do is increase the temperature the passenger side to say 26c and shut the vents - then at least driver side blows cool but certainly not chilled. However that leaves the noisy dash and under bonnet fans fighting out both the hot and chilled air!

ATC fault code diagnostics normally flash ?00? (no fault) but sometimes alternate ?21? & ?22? - sun light sensors L & R - no solar heating correction?

Only 300 miles until it's next service so I'll get them to investigate - thanks!

Another Herts member....welcome along

Mine also does a strange thing one minute it's cold the next warm.. Not sure, but may be a sticky or leaking heater valve (internal leak not external)

pps the sunlight sensor code you mention in your op (21 & 22 - sun light sensors L & R - no solar heating) simply means that there is no light reaching the sensor on top centre of the dash under the screen - usually because it is dark or the test is being run inside a garage
