Hi all
I used to work for alexance (then phoenix) mg/x power in oxford untill it shut and on the day we got made redundant was the day I was meant to be buying my boss,s demo 260 (needless to say thankfully I didnt sign the finance lol)
Any way does any one know where it is now?
It was a 53 plate se registered first at new banbury rover
Cant remember the full reg now tho
Also it was a strange green/blue color but not too bright quiet subtle (i think it was gulfstream kinetic but not 100%)

Thanks Rob

Is this one of the bittersweet / posiden directors cars? most of them are known and are part of the 260s, so shouldnt be hard to track down?

defo wasnt wasnt bittersweet
it was a very understated color like a dull blue/green mix

Frazer is on here, I'll send him a PM just in case he's not seen this thread.

Spent a happy few hours helping him get it through the MOT. Nice motor and sounds better than mine :)

cool
i was also the first person to do a full 4wheel alinment on it too
and replaced the fuel pump (casing split where they clamp together on 2nd tank of fuel)
replaced the passenger base seat cover as a customer managed to put a hole in by sitting on his keys
sorted all sorts of rattles etc on it
quiet a few other odds and sods too

Yep just confirming this is definitely my car, and enjoying every minute of owning it

Max replied to your PM. Can you tell me any more about the cars history, and how did you know about it being recovered to PriceWaterHouseCooper? Were you there when it was recovered and what was the reason?

maxtherotti

It got taken as part of the stock list (every thing on the fourcourt and showroom inc the 75 v8 limo and sv) for the recivers (Price Waterhouse Coopers) when we folded as by then our garage had been taken over by Phoenix, I was collecting my tools at the time:(:(:(

As i said in pm car was pdi checked at New Banbury Rover as a demo for our boss Steve Alexander and on its second tank of fuel the fuel filter housing/pump assy cracked so a new one was fitted.
After we moved to oxford (then named Alexance) I went on the course for x power cars and v8,s so i looked after it from then in.
After a salesman had a slight bump into a kerb (no body damage at all very minor) on the nsf i fitted a new strut and lower arm then did the full 4wa on our new shiny set up;)
every thing was out on it and after 4 hours on the rig every box was green and drove soo much better than it ever had.

Then a dopey customer jumped in the pass seat for a test drive with his keys in his back pocket (who does that??????) and holed the pass seat cover so that needed re trimming.

was around this time i was looking into buying it
i was going to pay £17k plus my zs180 in px (so £23k all in) and as stated above was due to sign the finance papers the day we got laid off hence my zt260 never became mine:O):O):O):O):O):O)
so i only know its history up to its first birthday (approx) and it had only done 1800 miles or so last time i drove it

Glad she has found a loving owner and if you ever decide to sell please let me know!!!
