Makes you want to cry ........... after you've shot someone. Some people just can't be arsed to spend a bit of time organising the useful disposal of these motors, even to someone like Roverbreakers to utilise. Another example of corporate money holding sway over commen sense.

I wrote to MG Motors Ltd a while back regarding a possible donor car to help restore 07 - didn't even get the courtesy of a reply.

I was about to say why not sell them on to a registered vehcile breakers..they would have a field day flogin so called "old Rover and MG bits"...and useful for people like us too...

Easier to chuck in the crusher

Ah well, i guess it was inevitable the time would come, clean sweep for whoever it is now...SAIC/NAC? i dunno :ash

A damn shame they went to the crusher. Why not strip the cars of all the development equipment and sell it in bits to the general public.

Gary Egan, as suggested by Ian Pogson (he, Gary, being the guy who helped to liberate the S Reg 75 to the Gentlemens' Club). Ian never held out much hope and really neiher did I.

Its a shame but product liability,no win no fee and all that. Its just too dangerous for MG.

It´s a shame and it hurts me. I´ve seen exactly the same 20 years ago at Porsche works at Stuttgart Zuffenhausen. They crushed lots of 911s, turbos and 928s crash and development cars with full fitted high level interior, engines, brakes...
I love cars - it´s nothing for me.
