You can get them through us John, cheaper if you are a member. Pads can be obtained through normal suppliers. Same as the lotus Elise I think.

£347 per set to you as a 'blue' £324 as a 'green'.

Forgot, welcome to the Two-Sixties :)

Just re-read you are asking about handbrake shoes, opps not sure someone will help out.

When you registered earlier you would have been sent the link to the questionnaire. Complete this confirming your willingness to join the MGOC and that's it. :)

Handbrake shoes are Galfer 520, but haven't been able to x-reference or actually find them. Even called Galfer and they couldn't help either

Post up your location in your profile - it may well be that you do not need shoes at all, a good clean of the inside of the discs ie the drum, and getting the handbrake adjusted (not as easy as it seems) may solve the problem. Also unless your discs are totally shot there is enought meat on them to get them skimmed

The car was in today and the discs are really buggered - its been standing for a while with the previous owner and the sea air has got to them I'm afraid.........John

Guessed that was the case when I 'checked his profile'

John do you visit the mainland at all - as shipping costs to IOM seem very high from my discussion on parts with Manxmann

Oh by the way welcome to the collective - you'll be as paranoid as the rest of us very very soon

Bear in mind these are patent parts (as denoted by the P at the end of the part number and not OEM)

As long as they fit and work......it's fine (with or without P)somehow that sounds wrong
