This is my 1972 Triumph TR6 bought by me in August 1989 for £8750 - it has had thousands and thousands spent on it over the last twenty one years. Not a concours car, but a very good useable example. Comes with huge history including all MOTs back to 1979. Qualifies for free road tax.

A REALLY REALLY reluctant sale due to my two V8 financial black holes.

I'm looking for something close to what I paid for it all those years ago!

Please PM me for full details and pictures.

My Sis I had one of those in the early 80s which I drove alot.

Briliant car. Went like stink and holds the road very well.

I should swap it for my F :D

I can see that it must be a reluctant sale. Hope you get what you want.

sorry to see you selling Tony.

Sold my pride and joy of a tuned (135bhp) '69 Mk2 Vitesse Covertible along with a 1600 Vitesse saloon and a 2.5S saloon to get my first MG (TF160)

I bought a dark blue one in 1973 CMR 815L. It was just a year old with 3,000 miles on it. I think it was about £1,200. A brilliant car for its day. It cost me my driving licence. I already had two endorsements on my licence and then I got caught twice in a fortnight in these new fangled speed traps. They gave a six month ban!

I worked in advertising at the time and I would leave it dumped on the pavement all around London with the floor lined with parking tickets which they almost never chased up.

Sorry but recapturing my youth again.

Thank goodness, when I saw the title of the thread I thought we were heading for a "Readers wives" moment :~
