Unfortenately the parts advertised where not available.

So for the moment still looking for the parts. Prefer new either one or two or complete rear-end.

The sound is getting worse so all the help is appreciated.

In contact with Jerry which is going well.

Premier has the parts on their site (found it thanks) but not really in stock. Most of the parts on that website apparently are not in stock anymore.

Hello Scooter, should have thought about that first thing. Jerry has been a great help and a heavy package is on its way to the Netherlands so hopefully my ZT-T will be back on the roads soon.

Thanks will certainly give you a call next time I need parts (which undoubtly will happen given i do 25k miles a year).

Had this problem with a throttle cable from them - took the order and the money - only refunded when I chased delivery

What is wrong with the driveshafts? I have never seen one fail. I would be very surprised if you have a driveshaft problem.

Xmas was really well timed this year.

Thanks to Jerry a heavy package arrived with spares to do the job. So now all i need is a ramp and i can get that noise out of my 260.

I'll take pictures on the failing part once i removed everything. Judging from the noise the bearings have given away.

Maybe because my 260 goes sideways a lot:) or simply the mileage (+80K miles).

Anyway great thanks to Jerry for helping me with the spares and will keep you posted on the fix and issues found.

Thanks and Merry Xmas

Final clue to the driveshaft replacement.

Well my indication on driveshaft was wrong. Although the protective sleeve was damaged and that pointed to it.

It turned out that the actual noise was caused by a failing wheel bearing. According to the dealer not the first he replaced.

The damaged driveshaft was repaired but the noise was not caused by this.

So i now have some spare driveshaft :)

Thanks for all the help and advice.
