You've got it wrong Dave. You need your V8 for retirement.

Good luck, I would put it up on the gentlemen's club (75&ZT club) as well.

Edit: You already have :D

I'd be interested to hear who refurbed the Vortex's (-ices). I thought this was very difficult to do

Do you really have to sell it? You know you don't want to;)

It looks like a manual; I thought the Rovers were all automatic? Nice looking motor...

Re. Refurbing Vortex alloys..

My son-in law is manager of Lexus Leeds and he kindly had them

done by their contractor, so they are not correct MG Rover siver but the

finish is so close to Silver Sparkle you cannot tell.

They were really badly curbed when I got the car and were finished in

what Rover called Premium finish [looked like engine turned bare alloy]

Not to my taste but look good when brand new.

And yes it is an Auto [plenty of room to rest your left foot]

I have taken many pictures of my Poseidon V8 but have never been able

to get the bronze to show, it seems as if you can see it but it wont show

up on a digital photo. [Spookey]

Thanks for the compliment Steve..

I bought my 75V8 just after I retired. Parted very reluctantly with my 827 Sterling, but I'm glad I did - the V8 makes me feel so much younger. :)
