Hi guys,

Just joined the site as im on the lookout for a 260 to repace my diesel tourer.

Couple of things:

First of all i have an MGR T4 Testbook setup and everything required for the V8 cars and im based in the West Midlands so if any members nearby need any diagnostics or setup on the T4 you now have a contact!

Secondly i have recieved the questionnaire but obviously i currently dont have a V8, do i need to actually own a beast to see the rest of the forum?

Cheers all, Matt

Welcome aboard Matt and yes, you can see the public areas so if you have any questions do ask and and answer will come flowing back to you. Once you have a V8 then the remaining will open up once the questionnaire is returned. :D

The location of a T4 is always handy.:)

A huge welcome to the best forum in town. Glad you have a T4 as I just might be around to see you soon. Need to change various settings etc on the car like auto door locking and how the windows work etc. I'm not far from you (about 35 mins). perhaps we could make a date and then you can have a good look at the car as well.

Welcome!
I work in Tyseley so I'm not too far away, happy to help if you are looking and need an opinion. Haven't found a reason not to own one in the 2 years I've had mine, you will not regret it!

Hi Matt.

You have a go in a 260 and you will want one! I had the use of a Longbridge press car for a weekend and was hooked. Purchased a MK2 as soon as they started leaving the production line. No plans to change anytime soon. Car still puts a big grin on my face:D and having all the windows down it this hot weather hearing the Xpowers makes it even better.
