Hello everyone.

Very excited, just purchased from James@Elitecars a silver 260 yesterday. Hoping to pick it up soon.

Looking forward to using the forum and hopefully meeting up with other enthusiasts.

Hi and welcome!

whereabouts are you?

I am in East Sussex, near Eastbourne. Speaking to a local Rover/MG specialist there are three other 260's round these parts.

I sense there is some long running "discussion" about silver 260's?

Whats the beef?

Its the Lords colour Tim. No beef really, I think everybody accepts that silver is the best colour :]:D problem comes at car shows when you see a long line of silver and x-power grey cars, people just don't know which one to look at so we put the lower colourful ones in between. The poor owners who have the flip colour cars we keep right at the back away from the public. Schizophrenic don't you know, they have to approach their cars in the same direction they left them so they can remember the colour. :Duh:stir

Bet you can't guess what colour mine is.

I visit Normans Bay a fair bit in the summer (In-laws have a caravan there, and its free) So I might see you around.

I also have a silver one. But I really like the black ones.
