Anyone interested in, or know of anyone looking for a ZS180. Decent condition for a 02 plate, and only 39800 on the clock. Le Mans Green, tracker fitted, long MOT.

Picture? How much, whats on it other than a tracker. Have the vis gone all sticky yet and been sorted. Stuff like that ;)

VIS valve motors on the V6 go titsup all the time - give you a massive flat spot just below 3k revs. Spot the ex V6 owner...

So people keep telling me!!

I'm on my forth KV6. Went in for service today. No fault codes on T4. Still get the kick at 3000rpm. Never had a vis motor fail or anything else fail on any of my three ZT's or my ZS180.

Here's some pics. I'm looking for £1500 for it. No major problems to my knowledge, certainly not the 'vis' problem you refer to. The front splitter is damaged, but I have a new one boxed to go with the car, just needs painting. MOT'd until October. Probably needs a new set of brake pads fitted, (which are in the boot. I've just never got around to fixing things on it since I got the 260). The driver's seat has a bit of wear where yer bum rubs on it getting in and out. Apart from that, there's a few minor dents here and there which you don't notice until you look really hard, and a few scuffs on the alloys. Tyres are hardly worn.

I guess the question that needs asking about a 6 year old V6 is whether the cam belts have been done. Six years or 90k miles I believe....

No, cam belts haven't been done. But it's done less than 40k !!

6 years or 90K - belts are rubber and perish with time, not just usage sadly.

Looks like a lovely motor, i had a LeMans Green ZS 180 Saloon and i miss it sometimes - loads of fun.

Good luck with the sale, my GF is after one (must be a saloon though, she loves the extreme spoiler), but we're not in a position to buy currently.

Good man. I can say this now as I would have looked like a time waster while you were selling but my son will be looking in a few months. He has a Rover 420gsi and wants to move over to a ZS. Its the only time he is looking forward to reading my EMG mags as Roger has a ZS project under way.
