Its just crazy isn't it? When I bought my ZT-T I thought I would sell my Camaro privately. Needless to say I haven't. I have just rented a garage and I will try again to sell at some point. So I now have the choice of three V8s each morning as I look after a Corvette for a mate of mine. Decisions, decisions....

Sorry to tell you, even that's unlikely. Museums are being inundated with offers of cars for the same reason. I had a very interesting Russian car which I offered to museums worldwide. Got nice letters back but no takers.

... and therefore a damned good reason for the new owner to get one fitted. A 400bhp car for < £12k? Bargain...

There's certainly a lot of choice at the moment........... ..........as long as you want Silver.

And thats why I don't really want silver !!

But who knows, I might have to compromise.......

nothing wrong with silver,

Peter, you're quite right there's nothing wrong with Silver, It just don't stand out.

My 200 has an Orange Bit on the Front, my ZR is Biomorphic, The TF was Trophy Blue, Silver just don't do it for me !!!

Looking at all the 260's currently for sale It don't do it for a lot of others too !!! LOL.

But honestly, there is nothing WRONG with silver !!!

Wish I had bought it, didn't realise it had dropped below £5K. Kicking my self now. Desparate for a weekend plaything (it's the petrol in my blood)
I'm bidding on a one owner MK1 Granada 3.0 at the moment. I will own a 260 though :o

Just having my morning cuppa at work and guess I ought to own up to Saffron, bought her because well what else do you do with a spare 5K at the moment, never doubted she was worth the money. The chap had had it new from a reputable rover dealer these parts 'Dutton Forshaw Blackpool' as an ex demo car. I particularly liked the colour and as I have a XPG Mk1 LPG and do little mileage I thought what the hell you could put a blower on that:D The impressions on the car so far is its a beaut, well used at 57k but the difference in drive is real, most of 57k mileage was motorway, the drivetrain seems much smoother the gearbox could almost be a different model and xpowers well why I ever doubted them I cant say! I watched the sale over the last couple of months and I cannot understand some of the comments on the colour or the interior, I mean what other colour leather monogram would you choose? The seats are well worth the 2.5k extra, very comfortable unlike the alcantaras, and they have even been run in with that worn lived in leather feel that only comes after time. Powerfold mirrors a nice touch and I am of the opinion that this colour goes well with the MK2 grill, reckon I will try a set of black wheels to finish off a decent looking motor.

Anyone want a LPG MK1 XPG with vortex alloys accufab and detach towbar?

I like the colour, its nice. Ive seen those seats in a few other monogram specced cars, a guy on the 75 club has a nice burguny red ZTT with the cream leather seats in, beautiful!

So 2 260's then, keep the new one and race your 1st one maybe? ;)

I agree with you there, bleeperman. I never did see the attraction of black leather. It makes the cabin far too dark. Add in the powerfold mirrors and X-Power exhaust and £4.9K is a bargain and a half. Pity I didn't know about it earlier or I'd have had it myself .

Why would you sell the Vortex's? I think they're the best
