Having changed my dash to dark oak sometime ago and thinking it a good idea to keep the technical dash, i have know come to the conclusion that i don't need it.

Parts avalible are: left hand vent, airbag cover and speedo/righthand vent, and eyebrow.

£40, collection from west london or postage at additional cost.

Because of not being able to get a gear surround, i opted to keep the lower parts the technical part. If i ever get hold of one i'll change the rest.

Much as I like the dark oak, it was that lack of bits that put me off trying to source them..

That widescreen however I'd love :( Just can't warrant the outlay..

I know what you mean, however i think what i have managed to do works well, given that the two areas are seperated. I did plan to try using the old technical parts to create some carbon fibre ones, but have not got round to doing anything.

I must agree it is very nice and lifts the appearance of the dash nicely.

Hmmm, I've got a friend who works for a company that makes carbon fibre bits for F1 cars and the like - might be an interesting experiment to get some done. I don't think he'll mind, after all I keep asking him to make mudguards for my mountains bikes

Peter,

Probably no help but I have a brand new spare black (dark) oak rh cupholder face trim. If it'd ever come in handy let me know.

Yeah, sorry, should have posted earlier. He's having trouble doing "private" stuff at the moment becuase the company are having to cut costs (unsurprisingly). I've asked him to think of me should things change.

So, sell them if you can I guess...

doesn't seem mush interest in it, so will keep hold, a carbon fibre one is worth keeping hold of them for.
