There is 34k mileage difference between yours and Richards Eddy. I still think you are under selling yourself and can only think you need a quick sale.

getting desperate isn't it? (edit: should say I mean the situation as a whole not this gentlemens specific sale.....)

there's some fab v6 ZT's up for sale at low miles for as little as £3500 now

Auction prices are down to £5500 for V8's now

You should not get so hung up on the capital value of things. If you are enjoying your car and not trying to sell then it does not matter. Bragging about what houses, cars etc are worth is a part of the current economic problem. Children used to say "what'll she do mister?" now they say "what is she worth". You could always swap your car for a sensible Daewoo Matiz and let life pass you by in a cardigan.

It is a shame for anyone trying to sell at the moment that prices are depressed. Im sure its not just MG's- the trade will tell you that the depressed prices are across all marques. To me its a shame that anyone is in the situation where they have to sell at these reduced prices for whatever reason- instead of being able to hang on and maybe use them as a second car and enjoy them.

my current plans are to be in it for the long haul ;)

I can have Chris Coles saloon for £6575 with decent looking wheels (hate apexs) Zeros and a BMW MK3 if only it was a ZT-T :(

Or an R75 V8

Now there's a thought I am in to Autos at the moment

Must agree with the economy comments, getting fed up with the unfair tax on the motoring enthusiast, my stable is costing me a small fortune to keep on the road. I can only drive one motor at once and 500 miles in the van a week sees me doing very little but polish and Sunday runs etc. The last journey to silverstone at 11 mpg with the caravan made me happy to be on LPG now its been sorted.
