Hi new member, don't yet have a 260 but currently have a ZT-T cdti. Which has been a great car and am a bit loathed to loose it, but mileage is getting high, and restrictions on mileage by my work mean that I have to replace it soon, and I am going to get a 260 (The decision has been made, there can be no going back!!).
I have been watching ebay, autotrader, pistonheads, sun local and exchange and mart, but am wondering if anyone knows of any for sale not advertised on these sites. I need it to be no older than late '05 reg and not more than 20,000 miles.
I live up in Scotland and intend having a weekend looking at those currently available in the next couple of weeks, so any help would be appreciated.
In so far as age is concerned, if you are concerned about road tax, a late '05 reg and '55 reg are Band F, but later than that (23rd Mar 06 on) are Band G.
God knows what the road tax/congestion charges will be for them in the future.
Good luck in your search. They really are great cars, full of character.

I am weak, I'm sorry but I couldn't help it, I haven't been able to sleep since I test drove #317 .... I can't take it any more..... so I bought it.
Seriously I had another look at the information on the other cars I was going to look at and decided that #317 fitted the bill better than the others and it just made sense.
So pick up in 2 weeks is the plan.
Don't apologise - we understand!
Tell us some more about 317 (and make sure Tim gets the info for the DB)
Welcome!

Thanks for all the comments, I have been a MG ZT-T driver for a number of years, but now I have a real car I might just try and get to some of the meetings.

Nothing beats the first drive. Mine was in a TB ZT-T took it out for an hour and they let me go on my tod. The manger did not say anything as such but smiled as he know I was buying one any way so did not need to test drive the company one. :)
