I've just joined the forum so I thought I'd say hi to everyone. "Hi".

I don't own a ZT260, but I do own two Rover V8s (Rover 3500S) and an MG V8:D. I have, however, driven several ZT260s. ;) I have owned many different MGs and Rovers over the years and set up a XPart AutoService Centre, based in Kent, in July 2006 with The Express Valeter.

Good evening and welcome. With three v8's already and a line into Xpart, there must be room for a 260 at some point!

Well, I do own a ZT160T... but it doesn't fit in my drive way. Or rather, it does fit in but I wouldn't be able to get out of the car.:(

BTW my MG V8 is around 380bhp

Hello Ralph!

Have you still got the SV?

Yes, that's the 380bhp MG V8 :D It leaves ZT 260s standing, or least it left Andy standing coming out of the Dartford toll booths.

Thanks to everyone for the welcomes!

It would be a bit worrying if it didn't! Less weight, less seats, more power, more money etc...:)

Hi

What have you done to the engine, or is it an SVR ?

EMSRalph

It is an SV-R - number 152. Since you were involved in building the 5.0 litre engines for the SV-R, can you tell me what the real power output of the engine is? I've seen various different figures bandied about.

Bit restrictive this account... I was going to respond to some of the posts in the wanted/for sale section, but I'm not allowed to. :(

Thanks, that's working now.

Apparently, I used to own a silver ZT260... I was told last night that someone had been to view said ZT some time ago and was told that I was the previous owner.

Over-engineered it might be, but not up to Veyron levels, surely? I thought most of it was rated up to around 500bhp? Could be wrong of course - we need a Rincewind or a Scooter!
