I have reluctantly decided to offer for sale my Rover 75V8, because advancing years and health issues are preventing me from making full use of it.
It is painted in Firefrost Red pearlescent with Sandstone beige leather seats with a light oak fascia.
It is featured as the COTM November 2007 on the Two-Sixties site:

http://www.two-sixties.com/cotm1107/

The car is in absolutely pristine order having been carefully looked after and garaged. It was time serviced at Dreadnought and has only covered 2,271 miles to date.

Price: £15,495 .
The sale includes £500+ worth of new spares and accessories, some of which are virtually unobtainable now, including 4 x Vortex 18ins wheels (boxed). These items will not be sold separately.
The personal number plate is not included.
I can send email pictures and full details to anyone seriously interested, if you wish to contact me at:
sujonmatthews@btinternet.com (sujonmatthews@btinternet.com)
It is probably the best R75V8 on offer, anywhere.

John, a great car but I'd be divorced if I tried to buy another one. Where did you source the spare wheel cover please?

It came from a supplier of covers for 4x4 vehicles. Fred Cutler on 01284 725582 and cost £40

My Rover 75V8 (2,290 miles) is now advertised on AutoTrader at £14,995 without the spare parts and accessories previously offered. That's £5,000 less than Wilcox's 200 mile 57 plate car. Also, mine's in VED Band F.

Beautiful car.
Any chance we will know the new owner?

All the best for the future, John.

When the buyer drove off it was the first time that I had seen it on the road and it looked absolutely gorgeous. Pristine examples are now becoming scarce, and when they do occassionally come on the market, they will fetch premium prices. I've enjoyed my time with the Two-Sixties and I am not going away completely, afterall, I've still got an interest (not financial) in brother anglaslt with his fleet of MGR's. Many thanks to everyone who have given me help and advice in the past - especially to RogerP and Keith with their technical expertise.
