The damaged R75 V8 auction https://auctions.motorhog.co.uk/vehicle-list/details/763936
has ending at £2,700, I see.

Edit: It appears that this car, assuming it is #654, may well be the one sold by Barons by auction on 30 April for £6,050 + fees, just a few weeks ago. The accident which presumably lead to it being at the salvage auction, appeared to have happened only 11 days and 18 miles after that sale.

Cannot see how that could be a cost effected repair, lot of damage to the car, then its always going to have an accident marker against it,maybe somebody desperate for spare parts.

Generally tends to surface pretty quickly. Could have been a possible donor for the Chatsworth R75V8 that 'MGrick' had (the ex experimental Jensen car), for example. Somebody has that still, I guess?

Somebody is planning on hopefully rebuilding it at that price.
