That's nice, like that Problem could be all the dings and scrapes, Jeff (description and zoom in the photos). Difficult to spot-repair. and a full Typhoon respray is exorbitant. I think that #148 just listed at 45k miles, although a bit scruffy, stated as always under Austin's watchful eye, would probably be a more sensible buy at an "ono". Better than the £5.5 K on the recently auctioned ZT-T for example, even though the auction car was at less money, but much scruffier and suspect engine. At least in my opinion.

Yeah I know the pitfalls of a monogram colour. My zt cdti suffers now with body issues and it's colour is Poseidon, can't match anything

I did look at a Monogram car before I bought mine and though looked good there were several blemishes that would have needed repair. a friend who has a body shop warned me against it. He had been caught on a Micra in a similar colour and ended up painting the whole car for some minor damage on one door. If the paint code has CR after the numbers it means Complete Respray,

Well soon sold! 2 days from listing and gone (confirmed sale). An Austin Garage's Service history tells, and of course the mileage.

Very tempted at that price, no MOT on it though and it does need a new air con unit and belt. Would need about £500 spent on it from Richards description for an air con unit, belt and MOT, though he hasn't mentioned that, assuming nothing else is needed makes it a bit more expensive at £5,500

Central rear subframe severe corrosion in 2017. Rear tyre wear??

I may be wrong but that car i believe may have originally been owned by Brian Richardson who lived in kent. I don't know him and have never met him but i seem to recall in been in the MGOC magazine when he bought it new. I think he also had an MGZR in BRG as well. Sorry i know this doesn't really add anything to the conversation but it does seem a fair price on the face of it.

Some you need to move on pretty quickly, I imagine.
When I bought my R75V8, I "bought" it on the telephone within 10 minutes of listing, with an agreed hold for 18 hours, subject to me seeing the beast and agreeing that it met the description, and nothing 'hidden'.
Notional PayPal deposit (offered) not needed, said seller.
Can't always ask or get agreement to that kind of thing of course. Good if you can.
