No, they don't fancy telling me. I will be there in 2 weeks, as I say, and can take a look then.
If it is an original Dutch car it's probably #835 or #837 (the only two Royal Blue ones I can find destined for NL).

Just this second found that out from an old posting here (one of mine!!!!!). Should be #835 then, but I'll check when I see it.

837 does not have a "V8" badge on the front grill (in 2014) other than that looks the same.

Yes, would do; same spec and colour. Something odd though; I THOUGHT that I saw 857 also in Royal Blue a few months back at Damen & Kroes, but #857 shows as Black Pearl/Germany in the MGR data, so maybe misread that. Either way it was Royal Blue too (but tatty).
On top of all that RDW (Dutch DVLC) shows no Blue saloons at all, only 1 Tourer, #850 10-HDF-8, but one saloon 'exported or scrapped' in April 2014 (presumably #837).

My brain hurts.

From the photos VIN #835 (if this is VIN #835) and VIN #837 appear to have different head units as well. #837 has a widescreen whereas this one has Symphony radio (?).

Both are shown as Conny SE's on MGR database. Wide screen would be an aftermarket unit anyway. As far as I know no MGR 260's had them fitted ex-factory? However the regular TV/Nav was an option at around GBP 3k (!), even on Conny SE spec, I understand so that could explain the Symphony unit.

Just to clarify, if it was #837 then it is unlikely to have had the widescreen downgraded to the Symphony radio. So it's probably not #837.

Widescreen was not a factory fit option.

Agree. Whatever it is, I'm pretty sure too that it's NOT #837, which I imagine is nicely tucked up in bed in Luxembourg still!
Pointless trying to second-guess it until I can actually see it (if I can) in a couple of weeks time.

Been there, done that. It is in fact #827 from Belgium. Not (yet??) imported into Holland but lurking away in the Classic Park "collection" showroom in Boxtel, Holland. Nicer in the photos than in real life, but not bad. A clean and polish before putting it in the showroom would have been sensible? I've seen a lot better; like my #829, a few hours between as they left the track. The car has gained 5000 euros in 'value' since it left Belgium in the last couple of months!

This is indeed #827, it was for sale in Belgium not a long ago. A friend of mine went to see that car as he's been looking for a 75 V8 for some time, and eventually decided not to buy it at the advertised price. The seller at the time wouldn't drop the price, which I reckon was necessary considering the amount of rust lurking underneath in almost all areas.
Unless this rust and corrosion has been taken care of, I see no reason for the price to be what it is now.

Pictures below were taken by my friend when he went to see the car, this was last January.

So it wasn't just me being over critical, then. Your photos indicate lots more rust than my #829. Mine looks a bunch pretttier too !
