If you don't ask you never know! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!:-)

I'm not so fond of the sounds of X-powers but I would like to have a pair of loud exhausts just for fun once in a while so I am experimenting again with my allready modyfied standard boxes!:-D
My Zero's are not loud enough for me to accept the resonance they make.
Will let you hear later in the week or the weekend.

Tourer and saloon are different, Tourer ones are extremely rare

Maybe very naïve of me, but if you were fortunate enough to find (saloon) X-Power boxes couldn't they be cut from their input pipes and grafted (welded) onto the ZTT input pipes from the none-X-Power units? Bit of a hastle, but if they are so scarce ... ?

No they can't. I thought on that but if you move them towards the rear of the car so the exit properly the tips hit the bodywork and the box part is past the heat insulation. Thought on leaving the box in situ and extending the oval tail piece but it's not available in that length

I have a pair of custom back boxes on the car and they are incredibly loud. https://www.two-sixties.co.uk/mgoc260/html/f0rum/attachment.php?attachmentid=8700&stc=1
About 50% louder than X-Powers!
As you can see in the photo I have uploaded - they are virtually straight pipes. Great thunderous sound on over-run. I miss the crackle of the X-Powers though.

I know where there is a set of 'as new' X power saloon exhausts, only fitted to the car when new and ran for six months, he's put them up for sale on Facebook for £450. ;)

We have produced some custom ones that are on the way over as we speak if you get stuck. We have tested them for about 2000 miles and they are fantastic. I will see if I can get a video, but as per X-powers but better quality and the resonance that can be horrid on the X-powers has all but gone.

Hi Dominic - that sounds promising - what kind of cost would we be looking at?
