I am in the process of Selling my V8 defender which if all goes well will have a new owner in May (sale agreed), if the buyer comes through then the ZT-T 400 will be up for sale in June, target price £11k.

The car has done 125K miles but is an everyday driver so will increase by a couple of thousand miles by then. Paintwork is pretty good but not a show car, I think almost every panel has probably had a touch up in its life but still looks good and shines up well.

Obviously has an MoT
Recently Serviced at Dreadnaught, also serviced there last year and will possibly be back in for another by end of June.
Gearbox was new 20K miles ago (fitted at MG lifestyle)
Rear stuff up was replaced 35K miles ago (fitted at Dreadnaught)
VHS kit fitted - all recently removed cleaned and wax oiled - new strut bearings fitted
Everything works as it should except drivers door mirror adjustment ,still folds ok but only adjusted it the day I bought it.
New Dunlop Sport max RT all round
Detachable tow bar fitted
I will fit new forum discs front and rear - when they arrive ( just put new ones on the front anyway two weeks ago)
7'' sat nav system fitted
The car is fitted with the Rover 75 intermediate exhaust - probably the quietest v8 but you can hear the super charger better.
If I get my price the buyer will also get a full set of Apex wheels (gloss Black) one has a few scratched and mixture of 3 Dunlop sp1 and a winter tyre
Also thrown in is a new set of rear exhausts (standard)

car is an excellent driver just have another prospect I would like to try but not desperate so no silly offers worst case I can keep it, plenty of room in the garage.

I seem to be having trouble getting my pictures to show the right way up so would be grateful if someone can correct that for me.

Hi
going for a Mercedes c63 estate, always fancied one and plenty for sale at the moment, I just needed to sell the landrover before I committed to buying one.
The ZT-T is a great car but sometimes it's not easy to get parts immediately and it's my everyday driver so need something newer.

Just as an update my car was due up for sale but waiting for the diff refurb to be complete as I wanted to make sure the next owner enjoys the car, hopefully the new discs will also have arrived by then as if I get my asking price the new owner will get them with the car along with the spare wheels and exhausts.
I am pleased to say I have already had one very good up front offer put on the table but will still advertise once the car is available to see how much inerest there is.

As some have you will have seen my car has undergone another load of work in an attempt to solve the annoying noise which I thought was drive train linked but still not resolved.

the last visit to the garage included a gearbox change, prop shaft full rebuild and while the engine was dropped I had the lower arm rear bushes changes, also Brian noticed some swelling in the radiator so had that replaced as well.

during its downtime I also fitted all the spares I had so it has also had

Diff overhaul
propshaft overhaul
new rear exhaust boxes
new discs and pads front and rear
4 brand new Dunlop sport max tyres
new hand brake shoes
new radiator
new standard exhaust centre section and new joint clamp
it was also service while in for gearbox change and engine and gearbox are done with royal purple, inc filter.
Everything else is as per the list in the first post, plus the gearbox we took out as obviously there is nothing wrong with it and a spare rear sub frame which was my original one but was solid so need blasted and painted.
it was MOTD in November or there about with no issues

i have decided to put it up for sale, asking price is £8k as it stands so if your interested your buying a supercharger with car included, please no silly offers I am not desperate for money just fed up with it and lost interest and I think it's a fair price considering all the new parts and it drives fine with the exception of the annoying noise which most people don't even notice but it has spoilt the driving experience for me and the choice between driving this and the mercedes is easy.

car will be available on the forum until end of March then it will go on e-bay for a couple of weeks. If it does not sell it will go to the back of the shed and be covered up until I ever decide to move house again as i will be cancelling the tax and insurance after that.

If it's not raining tomorrow I will wash and polish it so I can put up some new pictures.

Please see some pictures I took this morning. I have added a couple that show specific damage to paint work, one looks like brake fluid has dripped on the door and the other is a couple of small bubbles on the rear wheel arch from a previous owners repair. both on the same side so could be remedied at the same time. as I said car lived in London and has over its life had a few paint correction work done but overall as a drivers car its perfectly presentable. If I had resolved the noise it was going to get wide body kit and full respray this year. I was going to get these points repaired before sale but had to restrain myself from the addiction of spending money on this car so it has been washed polished and covered up.
There have been a few people interested already so whom ever makes a commitment first gets the car and I am happy to keep it covered in the shed with a £1K deposit balance paid early - mid April and it can stay as long as required until collection can be arranged. I can get quotes for transport, their are a few local to me but buyer will have to make final arrangements.
