After much deliberation & regret, I am selling my MG ZT 260 V8.
True be that I do not have time to dedicate to enjoying the 260, and when my car is stored in a garage an hour or so from where I live, taking days out at a time to spend taking care and enjoying her is just not working out. Life?s priorities have changed somewhat :(

So enough with the ramblings, and on with the advert ?

For sale is my MG ZT 260 V8 Saloon in Starlight Silver. MK2 - VIN 326, Registered 07. Mileage is only 15K approx.

Spec wise, it is a standard model, so as basic as they get (and in my opinion, the best with no gadgets to distract you from the lovely V8 burble ;)). However it does have the optional sunroof fitted.

Prior serving has been full MG or Specialist. Last service at 14338 which was a C service. MOT Expires Feb 16
Condition wise is very good, bodywork is great. All mechanically sound. Only downside is alloys could do with refurbishing.

Since owning from Feb 15, I have spent the following on her.
C service - £435.08
2 x Front tyres fitted at 13800, and tracking all around ? £230
New heater valve - £180 (famous heater issue resolved by this)
Zero Exhaust - £250 (original standard exhaust will be provided too)

Comes with 2 x keys, and a big wallet of history with the car. Looking for £9000 ono.

Hi Wazzag -

I see your based in Notts (although not sure if thats you or the car :) ) If your ever in Notts with the car any chance I can have a look / pick your brains ? In all honesty I am not looking at getting until next year as curently have a 435d to hoon about in so wouldnt want to waste your time as a potential buyer but would be great to have a chat and maybe show me what to look for in a car as there seems to be lots of variables such as SE and non SE, rotten sub frames, expensive rear disks etc :) etc

Great looking car btw, and good luck with the sale...

Jez

Yes I can - I'm sure when I looked at work on my PC there it would let me see all the pics - I was looking at Keith's ZT400 at the time though so a different post! It just says here that I don't have the necessary privilege to view?

It wasn't to be third time lucky for me then unfortunately! If only I had been in a position to purchase it last October when it first appeared at Beech Hill for £6995 - Hindsight is a wonderful thing!!
