My rear brake disks are now needing changing, the only trouble is I can't find any.
What brakes did they use on the back or which car do they come from?
And I'll bet the handbrake shoes are shot too.......who makes those?

Bespoke discs a bit difficult to get hold of and not cheap!

You need to go green all the info is available once you get full access to the forum. The rear discs and pads are available from the club shop. Dont be fooled by the many auto parts dealers that say they have the rear discs, they dont and will try to sell you 190 rear discs .

The club is the only place to get rear discs, I've never seen them advertised anywhere else.

As a V8 owner you should join the club there is a huge amount of info on here to help you keep her running. They're not a bad bunch either :hug

Yep we have some in stock, even to people living in Exeter. But you do need to be green :)

There is a possibility the discs can be "skimmed" in situ with a Pro-cut machine
Google for your nearest garage who can do this
Won't help with the integral handbrake drum of course but handbrake should respond to the fiitment of new shoes

Thanks for the replies. Dumb question, but how does one go green?

Lets hope so, there is nothing better than a monster car disguised as a Rover 75.

In Exeter I got mine done at "Car Supermarket" in Marsh Barton. (The MG Dealers ;))

Any challenges, go Green and most of the answers are there (Members Only Section)

Fill in the questionnaire and send to Tim (https://www.two-sixties.co.uk/mgoc260/html/f0rum/member.php?164-Tim)

When you registered a link to the form would have been supplied. If you have lost it PM me your email and I will send a Word doc out.

Yep skimming is the first port of call as its much cheaper than the £458 for replacements. The cost includes p&p.
