Apologies as I'm sure you guys must have discussed this car before, but I can't find any threads.

Re: the typhoon ZT 260 currently for sale on eBay and auto trader - does anyone know any more background or detail on this one? VIN#?

I know it was for sale for about a year up north (Oldham or somewhere like that) for a similar price.

Does anyone know anything else?

It's a nice example but for the price I'd need to know more....

Hi Dave,The vin is 102 I almost bought it summer last year from I think TCS in Oldham agreed a price of £7500 I had not seen the car but got them to send a lot of close up photos,they had it forsale for nearly a year it had some scuffs and scratches on front and rear bumper where hose pipe had been dragged across,unfortunately I was on my way to France and was going to give them a deposit when I got there but like you I asked for info on here and some body beat me to it.Great looking car and as far as I can remember pretty much the same mileage as it was then,hope this helps.Pete

Did you contact the seller to see what info he's willing to give?
As in last 3 digits of the vin?

Edit: The car is for sale at Elite. The owner of Elite is a member on here (Precious Metal (https://www.two-sixties.co.uk/mgoc260/html/f0rum/member.php?953-precious-metal)) so he may reply to any queries you may have.
Normally there aren't any issues with cars bought from Elite and I'd expect this one to be the same :)

Thanks for the responses guys. I've had a 190 for about 3 years now but have been stalking you guys and the ZT V8s for sale for about 18 months. It's an itch that just won't go away ;-)

Emailed the seller and he was very helpful re: service history etc, but I was interested if the car had any story, so thanks.

Hi Dave,unfortunately my laptop had a virus on it about 2 months ago I lost all history had to reboot as a new computer lost all my personal work and photos.
