Hi folks,

Two-Sixty Shopping and should be going to view one this week,

I'm no stranger to MGR products having owned a 1.4 3dr Streetwise for the last 3 years. It's currently up for sale to go towards my 260 purchase, I'm hoping an enthusiast might snap it up as it's currently done approx 25k miles.

Im hoping to look at a 260 saloon this week once the vendor has got back to me.

a) Get a goodun , checked out properly as per EVERY item on that Buyer's Guide, and you will be a happy chappy, if V8 sound, gentle torque, fantastic handling and smiles per miles are what you seek.
b) Take your TIME to choose, make sure the price is right with something left over to sort out emergent issues
c) Don't get smitten or you may get bitten

Thought it was to good to be true.

This is is a scam sale. It's not listed on eBay or auto trader. But as soon as the seller started talking about Amazon Prime and having the car delivered to me alarms started ringing.

Hi Adrian and sorry for the delay,
Barry, is a friend who posted the ad for me online. He is forwarding to me all the potential buyers. Before I left the country, I've arranged a secure transaction through Amazon Prime. They are authorized by the Financial Conduct Authority to arrange secured payments. I have paid their fees, so they will ensure a successful transaction for both of us. In this way, you will not have to pay me in advance and you'll have the chance to check the car first. The advert was placed locally, but I had to move the car to our RAF Waddington from Waddington, Lincoln to keep it in a safe parking place.
You can read how Amazon Prime works on their official website: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/prime/pipeline/landing?ie=UTF8&ref_=nav_joinprmlogo and I will get back to you with more info. Also, I've attached their terms and conditions.

Hi Charlotte,

I'm very keen to see the car, I have taken the opportunity of trying to contact Barry Morgan / Morgan Barry. But am yet to receive a reply.

Please note that I am a serious buyer and an MG-R enthusiast.

Hi and sorry for the delay,
Thanks for your e-mail. The car is in excellent mechanical condition and immaculate inside and out with full service history. No accidents, HPI clear, no outstanding finance. I work as a Radar Surveillance operator for the Combined Air Operations Center at Finderup in Denmark since the end of February for at least 12 months. My cell phone is useless here because of the Military signal jammer so please write me back. The car is still for sale in UK and I can complete the sale in 2-3 days.
Many thanks, Charlotte
