The car is in the garage and will be out of there by 2moro.

The alternator was our fist surspect and was tested first, the alternator has failed and battery power is a-ok. Took it to a garage after the automotive electration told me, which I've never taken a car there before. http://forums.75-zt.com/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

To help reduce labour charges, I've removed the front bumper and driver side wing and trim. I didn't have to remove them but it makes working on the alternator that much easyier. http://forums.75-zt.com/images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

The garage owner and the lads didn't mind if i did that, wow had to say that's first time in a while that the garage will let you do that. http://forums.75-zt.com/images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

The boss mentioned its good to see car owners know what there driving, rather then just dumping on the garage door and pointing at it expecting us to work on it there and then. http://forums.75-zt.com/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif

I felt better after he said that. http://forums.75-zt.com/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif

Then the Hunt for a V8 can start once again. :0

So do I mate, there going to recon my orginal alternator, so its pretty much like new, just the casing that's going to be the same.

As long the internal bits are replaced then I'm not fussed. :)
