Good afternoon how you doing, Been a pretty good day so far, while I was at the scrapyard I had an idea, got a exhaust heat shield today, cleaned it and gave it good soaking have to say it's looking pretty good, going to t-cut it in a bit.

Right my idea is to put a duel exhaust system on my hybrid, think it gives the bank end more of a aggressive look. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=MG+ZT+V8&espv=2&biw=1280&bih=933&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=sN15VNTpNaXN7QbHsYGwCg&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=592Td6t-RvWYIM%253A%3BmWutB9NSe5idpM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252F us1.webpublications.com.au%252Fstatic%252Fimages%2 52Farticles%252Fi1021%252F102113_3mg.jpg%3Bhttp%25 3A%252F%252Fwww.autoweb.com.au%252Fcms%252FA_10211 3%252Ftitle_MG-ZT-260-V8-Launches-in-Australia%252Fnewsarticle.html%3B1026%3B686

Got to admit it it looks cool. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Could I buy the duel system in one, Will have to modifi the system to fit or do I have to get it customly made?

If I give sean the whole system its cheaper, but to make a custrom system talking about £300 which isn't bad, ;) Would buy two of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CIVIC-ACCORD-PRELUDE-UNIVERSAL-PERFORMANCE-BACK-BOX-EXHAUST-ST35/160786578160?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1% 26asc%3D20131017132637%26meid%3D4185fa02cbfa42188d 9a74e6f07c1303%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D201310171326 37%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D161468912556

Not that easy to fit a twin exit exhaust to a diesel due to the fuel cooler on the drivers side

That's very true unless I do it simler to this. http://www.hibexhausts.com/gallery

He did my Exhaust for me and welded it, plus he's one serious motor sport enthusiats with classic cars. :)
Some of the work he's done is just mind blowing.

More than happy to help with the hunt for your R75V8/ZT 260 David but the discussions on this forum tend to be 260 specific. If you want advice on your present 75/ZT then you might be better asking the questions on the Enthusiasts site or the Owners Club as they both have a less specifically focussed membership.
Creating a 260 wannabee and using what are proving to be difficult to source parts is quite a difficult project to get involved in especially if those parts are desperately needed to keep this unique model range on the road.

Ah, I see you already have.

Nich.

I have to admit to having a dual exhaust on my ZT190 & one of my R75's (2.0 KV6)

It's not that I'm a V8 wannabe (I have three V8 cars) but I like the look of dual exhausts.

I think that when you start to put V8 badges on something that is not, that's a true V8 wannabe.

Doesn't Rover/Mg already have one of those :)

The dual exhaust is not unique to the V8, there are plenty of cars that now have a double exhaust.

I just wonder how many people would go through the trouble of fitting a M3 style exhaust to a normal Beamer or on a 1.4 Alfa Guilietta to make it look like a 1.75 TBI.

It's just too easy with the MG..................:)

Still, whether I agree or not, people will because they can.

.............

I bought it at Stoneleigh (I guess) 6 years ago.

The only other exhaust I like is the E Type V12 one. (My Tow bar gets in the way :( )
