V8 rear vents...

Does anyone know from what VIN# did they start putting in the air ducts in the transmission tunnel for the rear vents to be functional?

Don't think any of the manuals have rear vents. The R75's was from 353

Mine has the rear vents, was I suprised when I got to know they didn't work!
Don't know who put it in the car, looks nice though.:)
