Hi Guy's

First visit to post a thread and not to sure on what I'm going, but hers goes. The clutch pack on my 260 has seized the bearing solid and torn the belt in half, the compressor turns freely. Rang MGOC and explained the problem and asked if they had a new clutch unit. Was advised that they had the same issue some time ago and changed the clutch unit only to get a repeat failure, said the compressor seizes when hot and sugested that I change the whole unit.

Question wher can I get a new unit at a reasonable price ? Is it the same unit as used on a Mustang 4.6 unit ?

Many thanks

Rob.

I have a used unit that is good that you can buy if you dont want to go the new route. Drop me a note if you need it.
