Sorting through the garage and found a bunch of stuff I had collected during my 260 ownership.

Quick list below with full details and pics further below:

LOUD Exhaust = £100
Rear lights = £10 ea
Throttle Body = £50
Handbrake Cables = £60
Seat Cover = £10
Air Con Unit = £25 (potentially) SOLD
Door Mirrors = £15 ea SOLD
Door Handle = Free
Front Mesh = Free
Rear Brake Discs = £75

All bits located in Bham and postage is free if you collect! Can also take them to work which is at Junction 4 M42 if that helps. Or, meet locally for drop off etc.

If collection isn't an option, I can post stuff... just be aware some things are heavy and large (some are too large for normal delivery methods I think (exhausts)). Found Parcel 2 Go reliable in the past so can get quotes from them if needs be.

Exhaust (Non standard)
Stainless steel straight thru rear back boxes. Slash cut to fit a ZTT; but easy enough to cut down for a saloon.... Or fit them to a ZT anyway like I did! Stick out by about 20cm :)
They are LOUD. Brutally loud.

£100

AirCon unit;
This was removed and replaced with a refurbished unit from America. To be honest, this was done as a precautionary step as Nick at Austins didn't find any debris in the air con fluid when he swapped them over. So I assume it's a fully working unit without a problem, BUT I couldn't say for sure. The new unit whined just as much as the one taken off and as much as the unit fitted to Nicks car... he seemed to think they all whine a little.
Soo... 'sold as seen' really. You can get them refurbed in bham so I guess this may be of use to someone wanting to swap etc, or for someone with a seized unit and needs a quick replacement.

£25

http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z310/SHfourKY/Sales/IMG_4544_zps1078ef8a.jpg (http://s193.photobucket.com/user/SHfourKY/media/Sales/IMG_4544_zps1078ef8a.jpg.html)

ZT MK2 mirrors.
Caps are Pearl Black. Fully working and unbroken mirrors. Couple of marks from general use but nothing a bit of spit and polish wouldn't clean up.
£SOLD

Door handle.
Err, it's just a ZT/75 door handle.

Free

Front grill bit.
Broken mesh but may be handy for spares if swapping to Silver etc.

Free

Original Rear Brake Discs
These are an original set of discs with about 50k miles use. Raised edges have been removed and drums cleaned. Would say quite a bit of life left in them, check out the photos.

£75 reduced due to postage probably being around 10-15 quid because of the weight.

Looking at the discs, with less than 24mm left (if you had used the tape correctly:)) I'd say they're good for the bin.............

What's the minimum thickness for discs then??

The lip was only a couple of mm, if that. Seems a bit of a waste to scrap them.

The back of the discs hardly had any lip too, so I can't imagine the standard thickness of a disc is any more then 25mm...

Nich.

There is no quoted limit for the rear discs but:-
Rear discs are 26 mm when new. If you allow roughly 10% wear, the minimum is roughly 23.5 mm

(for example, front disc is 24.9 mm, wear limit 22.8 mm (roughly 8%))

Tony, you have exceeded your PM quota.

Sorry for my lack of replies, I'm working away at site and have just moved house so I'm barely connected to the internet a the moment. Just seen your post.

Are you still interested in the throttle body?

If so, I can pass on BAC details and get it in the post on Monday.

Good lord they sound good! The way they crackle and pop on the over run and really, and I mean REALLY scream at higher revs is intoxicating. I just drove into the centre of glasgow and surrounded by high buildings it was quite frankly epic.

Sorry for the delay.... umm.... mesh is pretty big. (dont have items to hand to measure) But P2G says about 5£

I also have a MK2 Front bumper. In pearl black but would need a respray and some plastic welding etc. Its nudged a railing so has a couple of splits and various scuffs. Ill try and get the photos uploaded soon. Too big to post so collection required. Free to whoever wants it. Could be a toy for a mod project or something i guess :)

Do you still have my number? Let me know dates closer to the time etc. September could be hectic for me (mini me due etc) and plus I dont actually live at that address any more, ha! Parents still live there so they can pass the stuff on though! Or I can take it to work (Jnc4 M42) and you can grab anytime on a weekday....

Sharky,

Whats the deal with the handbrake cables? Are the original ones NLA these days, and these made up by the club?

Or are the originals still available, but rubbish, and these are a worthwhile upgrade?

They were club made improved versions of the originals. I think they help resolve the poor handbrake, although i believe their were alternate fixes discovered which meant you didnt have to replace.... but a bit out of the loop so cant really comment :)

Not sure if Rimmers still have them, they did commission a re-manufacture of a new batch but status unknown..and cost.
