I guess he wanted a very quick hassle-free sale otherwise he probably could have got a lot more for it himself.

I suspect that the real value lies some way between the two. £4500 was virtually a give away though, even with the more expensive tax.

To be fair, if the guy is a Dealer and it's getting a check over in the workshop and you get a warranty with it, it's probably nearer to £7,995! :)
However, if you are buying it without, then it's effectively a Private Sale, which I don't see more than £6,250! :~

sold for 4500 and sold for undisclosed sum appears now looking at website? but was up for over 9k
anyone know who brought it
my mate will kick himself if it did sell that fast
