Hi All,

Introduce myself quickly as I have had a couple of Pm's asking about my username lol.

Iv had a passion for MG's and Rovers ever since I started driving 10 years ago.

Anyhow in 2005 I bought my first MG a ZS180 which I supercharged and tried to pursue reliability (remember Brian kindly letting me use his workshop for a full engine rebuild in 2006)

in 2009 I sold up but have always retained the username. I have since owned several more MG ZS's usually striped out and track ready.

quick youtube vid my supercharged car

Anyhow fancy a v8 car and thought why not look at the ZT as its fairly modern, very different and sounds lovely.

Cheers all

Lovely looking car. [For our info "it is a Sprintex SC"]

I would think it is as quick as our (ZT SCed) cars.

Good luck with your wishes.

Welcome along Ross

What are your views on the s/c in a 180? Did you get it to sit okay?

Yeah the ZS 180 really took well to the charger it was a beautiful car to drive the power was very linear and it really bought the ZS out of its shell.

I spent many a time at santa pod and finally got a striped ZS up the strip on a 13.5 which was good really as the terminal speed wasn't great.

Sadly the black ZS was scraped as the chassis was twisted from a accident, i bought the car as a cat c and had it fixed and jiged but track days took its tole and the rear quarter was pulling around. I re shelled it but it was never the same.

The S/C used is most likely the Sprintex, isn't it?

Did you run it with a piggyback or proper remap?

Noy known to be the most reliable though so well done if you managed to keep it going :)
