Cant obviously see any details for this - is it magazine only, or online too?

Thats pretty darn low mileage, I expect it`ll fetch a premium price.....guessing its no one on here, otherwise we`d have seen the advert here too.....

That's a very low mileage it must have been standing around a lot. I hope it was indoors.

As most of us can't see the advertisement let alone any pictures, this all seems to be a discussion in a vacuum.

If you could post details of the advert it might help Barry.

You can access the MG Car Club site on line including members cars for sale
I did this but couldn't find this particular car so it must be for sale by a dealer
Perhaps somebody could tell us who the dealer is

The website is updated at the start of each month so if the car was listed in this month's issue the likelyhood is it will show up on the website in December

More than likely Herman. But thought Barry might be able to post details as he is obviously in possession of the magazine.

You're sure it's #240?

Looking at the VIN there is no owner registered on here, or has been.

Spec-savers do have a deal at the moment :)

Must have been a while back than if it has been stored since 2008 and put back this year May (Taxed until next year May :))

Can't remember seeing it for sale between May and now.

Any more details ?

You are bidding on a 2004 MG ZT V8 260 in Metallic Grey with 9037 Miles on the clock. This car is an insurance loss having sustained light damage to the drivers side wing both doors and rear wing my guess would be grazed a crash barrier. The wing is brand new and was the only item replaced the other panels had only scuffs and no substantial damage and were all repaired and painted to a very high standard. There was no suspension damage or damage to the hinges etc. I bought this car to keep for myself as a future investment and as such the car has been oiled up and dry stored in my garage for the last four years unused with the rest of my toys but i have too many now and therefore it has to be sold. The car is build number 240 and comes with extras including: Electric Windows/Mirrors/Twin Vanity Mirrors, Central Locking, Power Steering, CD Multichanger, Climate Control, Airconditioning, Sunroof, Half Leather Half Alacantra electric Seats, Alloy Wheels with two very good front tyres rears new, Rear parking Sensors, Xenon Headlights with washers, Runflat Tyre kit new with foam and compressor, Handbooks, Service Book (Unstamped as not reached its first service) and V5. The car deserves to be locked away due to the showroom condition but if you wanted one to use on weekends you would not be disapointed with this car and you would certainly be hard pushed to find a lower mileaged example! The car has been run up regulary however and the V8 engine sounds sweet with no problems. There is no Tax or MOT on this car but both could be done on new owners request. Any Inspection AA/RAC welcomed before the auction end and any questions i can be contacted on 01594 XXXXXX or via email. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is advertised elsewhere. Happy Bidding!"I have "XXXXXX" the phone number despite it still being visible on the ebay advert

comparing the adverts the location, name and telephone number are different.
If it sold back in April, I wonder why its being sold again so quickly, let alone why is it's past being hidden?

This thread was starting to confuse me as when I first saw the advert I thought it was the accident damaged one that had been up for sale a while back with under 10k miles.

When I bought my 400 from a dealer in Norfolk he mentioned he knew a dealer not too far away who had a sub 10k miles 260,which I assumed was probably this one.I can't remember if he mentioned it had been accident damaged or if I just assumed it was this one.

Hi,

got the Safety Fast! today too. What do you think about the fixed(?) damage? Is that a no go? Any other known problems with the car?

Looks like that low mileage 260 with 10400 miles is still for sale. Not too surprising given its a non SE and has possible Cat D history. Although isnt it unucual to have powerwash headlamps (zenons) with a non SE?

Another low mileage one for sale also, albeit slightly higher with 21000, but it is an SE in black, at the same price

It's not unusual for non-SE cars to have "extras" some may have been retro fitted, but some were factory fitted ie. my non SE saloon came with apex wheels and a sunroof. It also has cruise control buttons on the steering wheel (but alas no cruise).
